Carole's creative energy is evident throughout her work which is expressed using mixed media to add texture and depth to her imagery. She starts without a pre-conceived idea - applying and scratching layer upon layer, until she can feel an image emerging, which she holds as an anchor. She then takes this forward to its conclusion with her inherent experience and sensibility.
"Working in my studio in the Northern Loire, which is situated alongside the tranquil river Varenne, allows me to clear my mind and conceive fresh concepts and insights. These form the basis of my new work".
