Statement:
Family relationships, identity and memory are central to Hildegunn’s interests. She uses family snapshots and evocative objects to examine the multi-layered complexity of ‘self’. She works in both 2 dimensions and 3 dimensions, using techniques as varied as printing, textiles, and casting.
