ARTIST STATEMENT

"... my intention is to produce an image that will trigger a past visual experience. To create the calmness and clarity of mind that can be achieved when looking out to a horizon; free from the pressure and visual clutter of urban life."
A meditation like this invites the viewer to join the artist in a contemplative position, enabling the consolidation of past events and the consideration of future possibilities.
