Statement
Over the last ten years my paintings have been a study of pottery from all over the world and from many different eras. I first became fascinated in ancient ceramics while at art school in Cyprus. This lead onto an exploration of pottery from museums and galleries in London and from places I have visited and worked in. Some are studies in still life yet I also enjoy creating contemporary interiors with selected objects placed within them. I have had the pleasure of working closely with contemporary potters and exhibiting together. (All paintings are oil on canvas.)
